All-Ceramic Restorations in Darmstadt

Dental restorations that blend in as naturally as possible

Back to overview

Ideally, a good dental restoration should go completely unnoticed – whether you are looking at it or chewing with it. With all-ceramic materials, we work to make sure your restoration blends in as naturally as possible.

When light meets a natural tooth, it does not simply hit a plain white surface. It is reflected, absorbed and partly transmitted through the tooth structure.

It is precisely this optical complexity that makes natural-looking restorations so demanding.

Modern dental ceramics make it possible to create crowns, partial crowns, inlays, veneers and bridges with remarkably natural optical properties.

Why all-ceramic?

All-ceramic restorations do without the traditional metal core.

This makes it possible to achieve a natural interplay of light and translucency, especially in the aesthetically visible area.

Not all ceramics are the same

Depending on the position and the load a tooth has to bear, we need different material properties.

Highly aesthetic materials can be ideal for certain front tooth restorations. In areas under greater load, high-strength ceramics may be the better choice.

That is why we do not choose the material according to a single formula, but to suit each individual restoration.

Function and aesthetics belong together

A beautiful crown that does not integrate functionally into your bite is not a good restoration.

We therefore take contact points, bite, chewing movements, material thickness and the remaining tooth structure into account just as much as colour and shape.
